Coastal field verification and training pre-event using DX
On Saturday, March 18, 2023, we participated in a beach verification and training pre-event held at the Munakata Munakata Museum of the Sea, a water pumping park in Hokuto, Munakata City.
We demonstrated our new robot, Bunker, and the system for surveying marine debris.
We also had a discussion about the marine litter problem.
CCNY Dispatch
We participated in “R05 Global Technology Acquisition Training Program by Robot Embodiment: Dispatch to CCNY” from March 4 to 13, 2023.
Eight students from Hayashi Laboratory and four students from other laboratories participated in the program and visited City College of New York and Brooklyn College.

The PBL robot competition was held.
The students worked on adjusting their robot until the very end, as it was the final demonstration of the robot they had developed over the past four months.
Also, the Consulate-General of Thailand visited our school and inspected the students’ activities and the laboratory at the Iizuka Campus.

Ten students and one faculty member from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, who are participating in this program, visited Wakamatsu Campus and visited our laboratory.
They then visited Yaskawa Electric Miraikan and Kokura Castle.
Sakura Science Program “Robotics PBL Collaborative Practice and Curriculum Development”-vol. 1-.
On January 16, 2023, 10 students and 1 faculty member participating in this program from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok visited the Faculty of Information Technology Iizuka Campus. The program will last for about 10 days and will include a presentation of the results of the robot developed in the final competition, a visit to the laboratory, and an experience of Japanese culture.
Today, we held a laboratory visit at the Iizuka Campus and a welcome party at the Learning Agora.

JST site visit was held in Munakata City
On July 17 and 18, 2022, JST site visit was held at Fabbit Munakata and Kamiminato Beach in Munakata City. The system developed by our laboratory was demonstrated on site.
Participated in West Japan Manufacturing Technology Innovation 2022
Our autonomous mobile robot SOMA and autonomous food grasping and serving robot motoman were exhibited at the West Japan Manufacturing Technology Innovation 2022 held at the West Japan General Exhibition Center New Annex, Kitakyushu, Japan, from July 6 to 8, 2022.
