Participated in ICAM 2024

Graduate students from our laboratory participated in the 8th International Conference on Advanced Mechatronics (ICAM 2024), held at the Kitakyushu International Conference Center from November 6th to 8th, 2024.

Since its first meeting in Tokyo in 1988, ICAM has continued to grow as an international academic conference in the fields of robotics and mechatronics, and is one of the major international conferences hosted by the Robotics and Mechatronics Division (RMD) of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers. Many researchers from Japan and abroad gathered at ICAM 2024, engaging in lively discussions and exchanges.

Presentation titles are as follows:

・Tan Chi Jie (Sam):Autonomous Driving: Semantic Mapping and Costmap in Shore Area

・Md Abul Munjer:Real-Time Tree Pose Map Estimation using Forestry Robot

・Weeraphat Wongbunnak: A Facial Expression Recognition and Robotic Assistance System for Bedridden Elderly Care

・Titan Janthori: Drone-Based Autonomous Navigation and Garbage Detection System on Seashores

・Rut Yatigul: Innovative Approaches to Seashore Cleanup: InstanceSegmentation in Marine Garbage Detection and Tracking for Beach Cleaning Robot
